The beginning...."The Birch is charming"

So - here are pics of our progress; from the initial assessment and demolition to re-framing. I had read that dry rot was the cancer of these old trailers but figured; "ya know just how bad can it be"..... we found out in a hurry!

Very nice floor plan - lots of room
Not sure about using the O.G heater....

Look at that honey colored wood! The Birch is charming...

How could I say no to her? Just like a kid in a candy store....
Great lines and no major exterior damage

Still wearing original paint - no latex to remove YAAAA!

Big windows are nice

Large dinette area makes into a large bed -SWEET!

Looking to the rear, bunkbeds

All the original appliances - mattresses too

"I am sure it look worse then it actually is..." uh huh

Just a little touch up here and there

That should be a pretty easy fix...

Oh here's some more....

GULP! it was a bunch of feathers and stuff...

The fresh water tank is aluminum - I may reuse it as I like the idea of not having plastic

She has all the fixtures - including the propane light

We are trying to match the Formica for the table we need to build

Nice hand soap dispenser huh? It now resides in our friends shop B-room
