Skinning it - anything worth doing is worth overdoing!

Once into taking her apart we decided that removing the entire skin with the exception of the roof was the best way to accomplish repairs. We spent Labor Day weekend on her and i took an extra day; the goal being removing the skin and getting ALL the framing done! Yeah go ahead Laugh out loud! Here is what we managed to accomplish over 4 days:
Lotsa ladder work- love it....not!

Found that most of the water damage was in the corners; a lot of the framing is in surprisingly good shape.

Rear curb side, they made the round parts of the framing by nailing plywood together bending it as they drove in the nails

I was so happy to find that the street side was in pretty good shape

This is the corner with the bathroom, I expected more rot here due to the shower...maybe it was not used much

Oh yah this is F...F...F fun!

Another shot of the bathroom area

It's all coming off....in spite of all the rusty screws

The fiberglass blanket insulation will be replaced with foam board

The loyal trailer mascot Bella "What the hell were you thinking?" she is pondering.....

You cannever have too many tools....

The front bulkhead area...

I salvaged one piece of a top front corner to use to make patterns

The water tank removed and Lori busy taking up the old linoleum tile

No turning back now....

She is such a tough lil thing!
